MANDATE & ESTABLISHMENT
True Light Tabernacle was mandated and established by God in June of 1977 under the leadership of Apostle Charles and Pastor Gladys Hunter. The early years of their ministry were spent toiling in the fields of evangelistic ministry all over the nation. Their unrelenting message of repentance, holiness and sanctification is credited to leading innumerable souls in the path to salvation. It was during that time that God would reveal an even greater purpose for Apostle & Pastor Hunter. With great labor, trials and tribulations unspeakable, Apostle & Pastor Hunter has birthed an army of chosen vessels, Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers. God continues to assert his stamp of approval through exponential growth, signs, wonders & prophetic manifestation wrought by the demonstration of the spirit.

We are committed to serve and minister hope & love to those that are lost and hurting. We are committed to make provision and impart resources to those in need. We are committed to supporting our community in the fulfillment of the manifested love of Jesus Christ.

Apostle & Pastor Hunter under-gird a number of seeded ministries. True Light Tabernacle serves two established works in Linden & Mobile, Alabama. Its headquarters is in Linden, Alabama. Apostle and Pastor Hunter continue to fulfill a plethora of evangelistic assignments annually. Its impact is noted all throughout the Southeast, Northeast & abroad.
